TableMate privacy policy
What information I collect
The TableMate add-on does not access the user's private data, apart from the document being edited, and never transmits this data in any form.
How I use this data
No user data is collected by TableMate. So it can't be used either.
How I share this data
I can't share it because I don't have it or collect it.
––––––––––––––––––
- Why does TableMate need to "See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Docs documents"?
TableMate never creates or deletes any documents, and the only document it ever edits is the one you are using it with as you format, sort etc. No other documents are ever seen or edited by TableMate, and TableMate never creates or deletes any documents at all.
The reason you are getting this warning is because of the '+line fix' button in the 'Format tables' tab.
Google Doc scripts cannot access the lined borders of individual cells. So if these borders have been changed by the user, OR if a table has been pasted into a doc from another application, then normally these cell borders could not be changed from a script, which is what TableMate uses.
To make it possible to format cell borders in these cases, the 'Google Docs API' is accessed.
The Google Docs API could be used to do all of the terrible things in this warning. (That's the reason for the warning!) But I am only using it to set cell borders correctly at the user's request! So now you can format any Google Doc tables correctly from TableMate.
(Note that this facility is ONLY used if the user clicks the '+line fix' button.)- Why does TableMate need to "connect to an external service"?
Only if you enter a license key into TableMate, TableMate will then contact the Gumroad software license server to check that your license key is valid. This permission allows this to happen.
- Why does TableMate need to "display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications"?
This permission enables TableMate to display its user interface inside a 'sidebar' window on the right hand side of the current document. It also allows TableMate to use dialogs to interact with the user when required, eg for input of a license key.

Gender Check privacy policy
What information I collect
Nothing. The Gender Check add-on has no access to the user's private data, apart from the document being edited, and the contents of that document are never transmitted or shared by Gender Check.
How I use this data
As Gender Check doesn't collect any user data, it can't be used for any purpose.
How I share this data
No user data is collected by Gender Check, so it can never be shared either.
––––––––––––––––––
- Why does Gender Check need to "View and manage documents that this application has been installed in"?
Gender Check is a Google Doc add-on, which can scan a document for gender words and change the gender of words in a document. In order to perform these functions, it needs to be able to access the content of the document it is opened in.
- Why does Gender Check need to "connect to an external service"?
Only if you enter a license key into Gender Check, Gender Check will then contact the Gumroad software license server to check that your license key is valid. This permission allows this to happen.
